Our talented estheticians, Tami and Stephanie, will spend an hour analyzing your skin addressing any concerns and creating a customized treatment plan tailored to the needs of your skin. This includes a regimen of medical-grade products in addition to a series of chemical peels and/or laser treatments such as Clear and Brilliant, IPL, Laser Genesis, Micro-Needling, Dermaplane, Erbium YAG Laser and PicoSure Facial Rejuvenation.
Dermaplane –A medical technique which women love where the skin is exfoliated using a blade. A great benefit is that it removes unwanted “peach fuzz” as well as leaving the skin soft. Dermaplane works well as an addition with some of our laser treatments and light chemical peels. This will provide better penetration of acids.
Chemical Peels –Glycolic, Salicylic, Lactic and VI peel –Light Peels such as Salicylic can be done by itself or in combination with extractions. Glycolic and Lactic acid give the skin a healthy glow and gently exfoliates removing dirt and oil from clogged pores leaving your skin feeling pure and fresh. These light peels are often paired with dermaplane for better results. The VI Peel is a deeper chemical peel that will help improve skin tone and texture while dramatically reducing signs of aging. This peel usually requires about 7 days of social down time while the skin goes through is “sloughing” phase.
Clear and Brilliant & Clear and Brilliant Permea –The Clear and Brilliant laser is one of our most popular lasers here at Northshore Plastic Surgery. Being an aggressive “no down time” laser that will help improve texture, tone, tighten the pores and brighten dull skin. Clear and Brilliant Permea is designed to enhance permeability for product penetration. These work well when alternated.
IPL and Laser Genesis –Laser Genesis is a non-ablative laser treatment that will firm pore size, diffuses redness and soften fine lines and wrinkles. IPL (Intense Pulse Light Therapy) or also known as photo-rejuvenation will revitalize your skin by lightening sun spots or discoloration and evening out skin tone. These treatments work well in a series for sustained results.
Micro-Needling –This treatment, otherwise known as Collagen Induction Therapy, may not sound so big but it actually has a huge impact on producing collagen and elastin. Micro-needling uses tiny micro-fine needles to penetrate the skin which stimulates its natural healing process and opens pores for infusion of products. In result this leaves your pores tighter, skin plump and can show improvement on fine lines and wrinkles.
Erbium YAG –This is a laser that is considered one of the more “social down time” treatments we offer. YAG is great for skin resurfacing, removing mild surface scars or splotchy skin discoloration. The YAG laser removes thin layers of aged and sun-damaged skin. Typically you will need 5-7 days of “down time”.
PicoSure Facial Rejuvenation –PicoSure is our most aggressive no down time laser for skin tightening, texture and pigmentation. This laser can be used on face, neck, chest and hands and is great when utilized in packages. Picosure is our newest laser here and our customers have been raving about the results they’re getting.
