Skin Tightening with ThermiRF
Northshore Plastic Surgery is privileged to introduce the ThermiRF aesthetic system to the Northshore in the New Orleans Metro area. Dr. Benjamin Boudreaux and staff are ecstatic about this amazing new system and are ready to have you on board. With its new technology in radiofrequency, ThermiRF uses probes that heat up the tissues underneath the layers of the skin causing them to contract and tighten while stimulating collagen. This system is the first FDA approved technology with controlled radiofrequency for tightening of the skin.
Within the ThermiRF system we will now be offering ThermiTight, ThermiSmooth and ThermiVa.
ThermiTight is used when you have a small amount of slack skin in areas like the abdomen, arms, neck, “bra fat” and thigh. Basically, this can be used in areas anywhere below the chin line. This procedure also works in conjunction with liposuction when tightening and overall reduction to the area is needed. Dr. Boudreaux is now practicing this technology with cellulite reduction, skin tightening, wrinkle reduction and body contouring. This procedure is minimally invasive with little to no downtime required and results being achieved with only one treatment. Tightening can be noticed within the first few weeks following a procedure.

These treatments are usually done more than once to achieve the desired result and are performed by an aesthetician. The non-invasive ThermiSmooth treatment is also very painless. ThermiVa starts out with a hand held wand that is used to deliver controlled radiofrequency to the areas of desired treatment. ThermiVa is also a completely painless procedure, during treatment you will feel somewhat of a warm sensation. Heat from this process will stimulate collagen which in turn tightens the vaginal tissues. The procedure lasts around 30 minutes and is done in the office setting.
