What Is Vivace Ultra™ Microneedling?
This noninvasive radiofrequency device blends the effects of skin tightening and LED light therapy to rejuvenate your skin. As a minimally invasive treatment, this form of microneedling can reduce fine lines and wrinkles, address discoloration, and eliminate stretch marks or blemishes. In addition to facial skin, Dr. Boudreaux and Dr. Claiborne in New Orleans can also use this treatment to target areas on the hands, neck, and décolletage.
Like other microneedling options, Vivace Ultra uses small, thin needles to disrupt small amounts of tissue. This, in turn, encourages new, healthy tissue growth. Where it differs is in its refinement of older techniques. Vivace Ultra uses more power, distributes heat more evenly, and more effectively minimizes the redness, hot spots, and other uncomfortable side effects commonly associated with many forms of microneedling.

What to Expect during the Procedure
Before starting treatment at our New Orleans office, we will first apply a numbing cream to the targeted areas for 30 minutes beforehand. This will ensure that any discomfort during your visit is minimal.
Overall, you can expect your skin rejuvenation treatment to be very comfortable. We will apply the microneedling device onto the skin, moving it around in intervals. A single session typically lasts 30 to 45 minutes in total. Afterward, we will apply a serum and mask to nourish the skin and minimize irritation.
